We are a neighborhood cafe concept born and bred in Miami Dade County. A family business established in 2005 by two siblings, Cuban born Miami raised, their quintessential focus being to ‘’elevate’’ La Ventanita, the iconic and ubiquitous venue which has nurtured the Cafecito culture in South Florida for over 60 Years. At Tinta y Cafe we strive to brew the best cafecito in town and our freshly made sandwiches have been described as “an experience”. We pride ourselves on our homemade croqueta recipe that will keep you coming back for more. Our eclectic Mid-Century decor will make you feel like you’re visiting your Tia’s house, with a playlist that sets the vibe, lures you to stay a little longer and makes you feel right at home!

Tinta y Cafe promotes the “Art of Conversation” and we kindly request that our patrons refrain from using electronic devices while here. Our goal is to have you put down your phones and not use your laptops (although we know how much anxiety that causes for some!) and to engage with your surroundings. It is our motto and our credo… we invite you to partake!
